Ask a Mental Health question
Submit your questions to our team of Australian mental
health clinicians and receive a detailed written response within a day
Do you want to know more about a symptom? Do you want to know where to go or what to do next? We are here to help.
If you have medical questions about your mental health, or if you’re not sure whether to visit your treating GP or see a Mental Health Clinician, simply submit your questions any time and one of our Mental Health Clinicians will respond in writing within one business day. The service can be used as many times as needed.
This is not an emergency service. If you require immediate mental health support you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or if you are feeling suicidal or unwell, we advise you to contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia).
“What are the best natural ways to improve my mood?”
“I feel quite low sometimes, should I see a therapist?”
“I have a friend who is going through a hard time, how can I help them?”
This service aims to support, not replace your treating doctor. If you require prescriptions or referrals, you will need to visit your treating doctor.
Our Mental Health Clinicians will also identify if you should be referred to our Mental Health Navigator program or any appropriate community services.
